Lamborghini Gallardo Top Functions

There is nothing more frustrating for a Convertible owner than a malfunctioning Convertible Top. Most driver's enjoy the excitement of riding with the top down, but if your convertible top is not opening or closing properly, or malfunctioning altogether...it may be time to bring your pride & joy to Allen.

Allen has worked on many Convertible makes & models over the years. He is currently assessing this Lamborghini Gallardo, and will be taking necessary steps to repair and replace any malfunctioning pieces so the process works smoothly and effeciently.

K5 Blazer Seat Backs

After creating the Front Seating for the K5, Allen decided he wanted to add a little depth to the Seat Backs. His Concept was to place a raised K5 Insignia, to catch the eye when looking in from the Back of the Blazer. This additional touch turned out well. Not too flashy, just right!

K5 Seating Prep

Allen began the Design & Fabrication of the K5 Blazer Seating this week. These seats include multiple pieces and the patterning must be precise in order to obtain the Perfect Seat to compliment this Interior!
Below, Allen has taken his Design to the Seat Foam, conceptualizing the exact pattern he desires to achieve. There is a LOT of Italian Leather going into these Seats, and the Patterns must be cut prior to beginning Sewing. He begins with the Seat Bottoms, then upholsters the Seat Backs. With the addition of a small accent piece on the Seat Back, we have a beautifully fabricated and upholstered Seat for this '71 K5 Blazer.

K5 Blazer Rear Side Panels and Battery Box

Allen finished off this week on two of the larger panel pieces within this 1971 K5 Blazer Interior...the Rear Side Panels. This was a large piece of upholstery, but will be key when the entire interior comes together. He also covered the Battery Box, which will be placed directly opposite of the Sub-Box Enclosure in the back of the vehicle.

One of the Most Prominent parts of a Custom Interior has got to be the Door Panels...The design Allen created upholsters the Italian Leather over molded layers, accented by a Custom Arm Rest and illuminated Steel Rod piece.

Panel Work on the K5 Blazer

Allen completed the two Kick Panels in the Interior of the '71 K5 Blazer. These two smaller pieces start the Design Flow from their small lower area, which will continue onto the Door Panels.
